  4. Aaah, I see that you've hooked up with Rebekah. As she's writing, Bekah loooves her Cricut so you'll have plenty of really useful and hands-on tips from her. Have to admit that I've actually never seen a Cricut other than on screen in the online shops, am totally clueless as how to use it so I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Am dead-sure you'll have tons of fun with it though! Thanks for all your visits and lovely comments, sooo happy you had a splendid birthday and got pampered really good. Mwah!

  6. Congrads on your new Cricut...I hope that you have loads of fun playing and experimenting! You asked me about recommended cartridges...to be honest I only have the basic shape cartridge and a font cartridge...keep meaning to invest in more, but alas haven't got that far. I love my shape cartridge...it gives me so many options to create frames, borders, and other shapes in various sizes. When I do purchase my next one, I will definitely go for something that creates lace like mats, and other shapely items that can be used over and over in different ways. I would probably steer clear of the cartridges that have the small, very specific pictures, as i think one can only use the same pic, so many times. That's my two cents worth. :)
    Have a fab week ahead...

BTW - I've almost given up on Somerset... and I've been talking and it looks like I'm not the only one in the mag that missed out on being sent a copy (even though the insist they've sent me 2 now). It's sad hey. .... D'OH!!!
